Join us as a volunteer

Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our museum. They do everything; the management of the museum, the preservation of our aircraft, the design and creation of our displays, the maintenance of the grounds and buildings, welcoming our visitors on site, the research of the history behind our collection and a thousand other tasks that we need to do to make the museum what it is.

We are always happy to welcome new volunteers on site and discuss how best you could help us. There is no restriction on the amount of time you need to volunteer and you do not need to have any previous experience to be able to tackle the tasks at hand. Whatever your background there will be something you can help with, or maybe learn a new skill alongside our experienced staff.

All we ask is that you have a passion to help care for some of the most treasured aspects of our aviation heritage and help keep the museum a fun, interesting and educational day out for all our visitors.
